S.Battsetseg wins bronze medal in Poland Open

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the last day of the Poland Open wrestling tournament concluded last weekend, State Honored Sportswoman S.Battsetseg grabbed bronze medal in the women’s -63 kg bout.

In the first bout, she had a bye, and then defeated Chinese opponent Hiogan Wang in the second round. In the semi-finals, S.Battsetseg was beaten by World champion Yulia Tkach from Ukraine. In the bronze medal match, our wrestler defeated Moa Nugren of Sweden. Alongside her, another bronze medal went to Bulgarian wrestler Taibe Yusein, a bronze and silver medalist of the World Championships.
