President shoots whistling arrows for greeting
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ After giving speech at the Naadam opening (July 11), President Ts.Elbegdorj watched the first rounds of the national wrestling matches and visited the archery field, where he greeted the spectators by performing in traditional manner, shootings with three whistling arrow. Through this, he paid tribute to the ancient tradition.
Then, the president legged the tent of knuckle-bone shooting, greeted with the shooters and wished them precise and accurate games.
The tradition of greeting with whistling arrows was restored during Naadam of 2014.
