FM Ts.Munkh-Orgil meets King Philippe and Queen Matilda
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ King Philippe of Belgium and Queen Matilda made a two-hour stop at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport on October 10 en route to Japan for a state visit. Minister of Foreign Affairs Ts.Munkh-Orgil paid a courtesy call on the royal couple.
The Minister briefed the guests on Mongolia's history, culture, people's lifestyle and tradition, as well as the current economic situation and future perspectives. The dignitaries discussed the bilateral relations issues and affirmed mutual interests in deepening the cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the FM expressed gratitude to the people and the government of Belgium for a soft loan, which made possible the implementation of project on renovating the Western Region's Diagnostic and Medical Center based in Khovd province.
King Philippe thanked Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil for courtesy and hoped to have a chance to learn more about Mongolia in the future.
