Deputy Foreign Minister visits North Korea

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At the invitation of Ri Gil Song, Deputy Foreign Minister of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s, Deputy Foreign Minister of Mongolia B.Battsetseg visited the country on May 16-19.
During her visit, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg had an audience with Vice Chairman of the 7th Central Committee of the Worker’s Party of Korea, member of the Politburo of the Worker’s Party of Korea and director of the party’s International Relations Department Ri Su-yong and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ri Yong-ho and had an official talks with Deputy Foreign Minister of DPRK, Ri Gil Song.
The sides discussed issues of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on the current state of the region. During the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister of Mongolia B.Battsetseg requested for an official representative from the DPRK in the fourth 'Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asian Security' international conference, which is scheduled to take place in Ulaanbaatar on June 15-16. The meeting continued in friendly and official atmosphere.
