Deutche Bahn company to support constructions of new railways

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian delegation headed by Minister of Road and Transport Development D.Ganbat attends the International Transport Forum’s 2017 Summit on Governance of Transport from May 31 to June 02 in Leipzig, Germany. The delegates are learning from international experiences on transportation governance, paying particular attention to organizing subway project and development of policy on freight distribution.
Minister D.Ganbat met with authorities of the Deutsche Bahn Company to share opinions on bilateral cooperation. The Minister talked about the Government plans to construct several railways, which is highly significant to the economy and possibilities of cooperation in the railway projects with the Deutsche Bahn, which is the world renowned and internationally accepted company.
The company officials underlined the importance of supporting and cooperating for the implementation of the Government projects to boost further cooperation between Mongolia and Germany. The authorities also appreciated the increase of transit transportation turnover and improvement of passing capacity of Mongolia and expressed that the company will support the new railway constructions of Mongolia in all possible ways at professional level.
