Khan Bank receives Best Product award

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In frames of celebration of the World  Telecommunication and Information Society Day on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of foundation of IT sector in Mongolia, the ICT-Expo 2017 took place under the theme “Create Your Imagination” at the Central Square on September 15-17.

At the event organized for the 11th year, Khan Bank participated in the Expo for the first time and introduced its online banking service. In the exhibition of cutting-edge technologies, KhanBank’s “Smart Bank” service received the “Best Product” award.

Getting rid of the system where the customers have to visit banks to receive banking service, KhanBank is the first Mongolian bank to introduce QR code payment, QPay service, fingerprint reader and monthly charge services through their Smart Bank.

D.Agvaan, Head of the IT Systems Department of KhanBank, who received the Best Product award, said, “Khan Bank is making an effort to become the leading company through its online banking service. As a result of continuous investment to present online banking service and make it more accessible, we have installed over hundred self-service Express Banking Centers with over a thousand ATMs and a total 85 percent of local online transactions are being made through KhanBank online banking service. I am grateful for our customers for welcoming our new services and products with an open mind”.
 
With an aim to simplify banking service by making it accessible from whenever and wherever, Khan Bank is leading the banking sector in every direction. For instance, the bank introduced QR code payment system QPay service, paperless card reader POS machine and, the latest, Khan Pay service where the customers can make payments using facebook accounts, phone numbers and locations.
