Mongolian circus troupe claims Golden Lion Cup in China

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian circus troupe has claimed Golden Lion Cup, the highest prize of the 16th China Wuqiao International Circus Festival (CWICF) continuing in Shijiazhuang, China.
Alongside Mongolia, the Golden Lion Cup was awarded to teams of China, Russia and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
Coached by N.Enkhbold and led by T.Nomuundari, the 12-member team of Mongolia received a standing ovation from judges with their ‘Mongolian Nomads Teeterboard’ act. Since the introduction of circus arts in Mongolia 77 years ago, Mongolian circus performers have claimed golden cups from major international festivals.
The international festival is being participated by more than 20 groups from 17 countries and regions, and will wrap up on October 12.
