‘Marco Polo Cup-2017’ golf tournament held in Rome

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At an initiative of the Mongolian Embassy to Italy, a Mongolia-Italy friendly golf tournament ‘Marco Polo Cup-2017’ was organized on November 9 in Rome, Italy.
Eight golfers from Mongolia including B. Nemekhbaatar, the National golf champion, and B. Munkhjargal, winner of the national golf handicap, and about 60 golfers from ‘Diplomatic and International Golf Association’ and ‘Marco Simone’ golf club of Italy competed in the tournament.
At the end of the tournament, Ambassador Ts.Jambaldorj offered a reception at the Embassy of Mongolia for guests and golfers of the tournament and handed the prizes to winners.
The event is considered to having made its contribution to publicize Mongolia abroad and expand people to people and cultural relations between the two countries.
The next year’s golf tournament will be organized in Ulaanbaatar city.
