Loan agreement to be submitted to Parliament

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On December 6, the Cabinet resolved to submit to Parliament a Loan Agreement for ‘Development Policy Loan on Budget and Socio-Economic Reform’, between the Government of Mongolia and the Japan International Cooperation Agency.

When approved, the JPY 32 billion loan will be spent on ensuring sustainability of macro economy, assisting the vulnerable groups and supporting economic growth.

The loan has a 0.8 percent annual interest, 0.1 percent upfront fee, 6-year moratorium and 20-year maturity.
