Memory Olympiad to be included in official Olympiad list

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Ts.Tsogzolmaa met team of Mongolian Intellectual Academy who successfully participated at 2017 World Memory Championships on December 13.
"Although Mongolia has small population, we are highly intelligent people", noted the Minister, congratulating teacher Kh.Khatanbaatar and the students who raised name of the country with intellectual sport. Moreover the Minister said she made decision to include memory Olympiad in official Olympiad list. Also she pledged to decide issue on rewarding students who succeeded in international and national memory competitions within legal frame.

Director of MIA Kh.Khatanbataar said the academy is preparing interesting cultural and educational contents and they plan to work in rural areas as well.
Currently the MIA students have set 14 world records out of 17 records. The academy has organized 71 competitions at home, involving 7400 children. The academy students have claimed 760 medals from over 40 international competitions.
