National Teen Football Cup commences in Khentii aimag

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Football Federation is organizing the first-ever ‘National Teen Football Cup’ to select best teen footballers under 16 years old.

The nationwide tournament, kicked off on January 6 in Chinggis city, center of Khentii aimag, brings together football teams from 16 aimags, including Khentii, Selenge, Darkhan-Uul, Sukhbaatar, Dornod, Bulgan, Tuv, Umnugobi, Arkhangai, Khuvsgul and others.

The national tournament will conclude on January 12. Two winning teams will qualify to compete in the League U-16. In addition, ‘National Futsal Cup’ for adults will commence on January 21 in Dornod aimag.
