P.Orkhon becomes champion in 2018 Senior Asian Wrestling Championships

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Mongolian freestyle team of female wrestlers grabbed one gold, silver and four bronze medals, taking the 2nd place at 2018 Senior Asian Wrestling Championships which ran from February 27 to March 4 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
P.Orkhon, three time winner of Asian Wrestling Championships and winner of ‘Paris-2017’ World Championships, won a gold medal in 62kg at the 2018 Senior Asian Wrestling Championships.
In the semi-final, P.Orkhon won Yurika Ito from Japan, qualifying to compete for gold. In the final, she competed with Luo Xiajuan from China and won by 12:4.
Silver medal winners were E.Sumiya in 53kg, Sh.Tumentsetseg in 68kg and O.Nasanburmaa in 72kg. E.Narangerel grabbed bronze in 50kg, E.Davaachimeg in 55kg, A.Battsetseg in 57kg and B.Shoovdor in 59kg.
