Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh is working these days in Bayan-Ulgii aimag as a part of his working trip to western aimags.

The PM held a meeting with the staff of the aimag’s Governor Office, at which he urged local authorities to work accountable and adhere to the Government’s official orders. “The officials have to promptly respond to public petitions and complaints and work within law,” he said.

Built in 1974, a building of Bayan-Ulgii aimag’s central hospital is outdated; thus the PM resolved to build a 50-bed children’s hospital this year and allocate the money for building 250-bed hospital and kindergarten for 250 children in the 2019 state budget.

At the meeting with the hospital’s personnel, U.Khurelsukh said that the government pays a special attention on health and education sectors. Building newly 97 schools and 127 kindergartens will eliminate three-shifts in schools and satisfy attendance of every child.

The aimag authorities requested the government supports to construct iron-concrete bridge over Khovd River and paved road, re-open a flight to Kazakhstan, build a cement plant at Asgat silver deposit and Turgen lime-pit, provide an office building to 10 state organizations, which are currently renting houses, and establish a new soum. The PM replied to solve the matters as much as possible.
