Nominations for National Development Award accepted until April 1

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The nomination process for the ‘National Development Award – the State Gerege’ will continue until April 1.
Pursuant to a presidential decree, the National Development Award- the State Gerege is bestowed upon a new development in infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture, land farming, tourism and business, that has created a new model in the social and economic development of Mongolia, representing Mongolia’s national development and competitiveness to the world.
The Citizens’ Representative Khurals of aimags and the capital city can nominate developments made in the administrative unit in that year, Ministries the developments made in their respective sectors, and professional associations and nongovernment organizations the developments they are supporting, and send the documents to the Office of the President before April 1.
A working group made of representatives of government agencies, professional associations, scientific organizations and the public will select the recipient of the 2018 award.
