Surgeons of Zavkhan aimag perform intracranial surgery

Zavkhan /MONTSAME/ On April 1, surgeons of the General Hospital of Zavkhan aimag has successfully performed intracranial surgery which is generally conducted at the state central or the third stage hospitals.
In particular, the surgeons conducted surgery on a patient with brain damage to remove blood clot. A surgical team of five doctors led by E.Tudev and N.Nerguikhuu performed the surgery for two hours under control by State Merit Doctor U.Orgil, surgical advisor of the hospital.

The surgeons also performed other surgeries which are conducted at the third stage hospitals including stomach and liver resection operations in 2017. Moreover the surgeons conducted not only epidural and subdural hematoma surgery in the province but also nailing for fractures of tibia. ‘Doctors are well conducting biggest surgeries. We will conduct microsurgery this year”, said G.Tsogzolmaa, Director of the Hospital.
