Diplomatic Missions heads to European countries met in Brussels

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April 21, a regional meeting of Heads of Diplomatic Missions of Mongolia to European countries and staffs in charge of trade and economic issue wrapped up in Brussels, the Kingdom of Belgium.
Foreign Affairs Minister D.Tsogtbaatar made a presentation under the topic ‘Foreign Policy of Mongolia: Socio-Economic condition and Development Tendency’ and delivered information on Three-Pillar development policy, and in directions of augmenting and facilitating foreign trade, diversifying Mongolia’s export and attracting investment.

Ambassadors and Non-resident Ambassadors to European countries attended the meeting, presenting current state of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the countries and pressing issues. They also exchanged views on opportunities to export Mongolian goods to foreign markets, encourage businesses, attract foreign investment, to introduce European standards and technologies in Mongolia.
Minister D.Tsogtbaatar assigned Ambassadors to work for exporting Mongolian goods on European market, rendering support to entities to take part in international fairs, promoting SME’s products to foreign countries, attracting investment, introducing SME's technology and innovation to Mongolia, implementing Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and Mongolia, fully utilizing the benefits of GSP+ scheme, collaborating in online trade and portals and making researches in diversifying export.
