Minister B.Batzorig exchanges views on expanding cooperation with the Republic of Korea

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On June 27, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry B.Batzorig received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia Jeong Jae Nam.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister B.Batzorig expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for his great contribution to fostering bilateral relations and cooperation and as MP, Cabinet Member and head of Mongolia-Korea Parliamentary Group exchanged views on expanding bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, Minister B.Batzorig made a proposal to the Korean side regarding granting multiple-entry visas, facilitating visa issuance, reducing the cost of two-way air transportation, stimulating inter-parliamentary relations and granting soft loans.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry D.Enkhbat was present at the meeting to introduce opportunities for bilateral cooperation in the fields  of food, farming and small and medium enterprises, and for implementing joint projects and programs.



Ambassador Jeong Jae Nam expressed his warmest regards towards Mongolia and demonstrated his sincere willingness to further develop cooperation between the two countries, especially bilateral relations in the food, agriculture and light industry sectors. He also said he will accept specific cooperation proposals and discuss the actualization after studying them.
