Deputy Foreign Minister opens International Conference on Democracy

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg delivered an opening speech at the International Conference on Democracy started on July 9 in Ulaanbaatar.
She stated in detail the actions taken by the Government of Mongolia on the development and strengthening of democracy, contribution to the international community activities, the experiences and challenges of the country and its cooperation with other Asian countries in this regard.
The international conference is co-organized by the World Society Foundation and the Independent Research Institute of Mongolia. Domestic and foreign scholars and researchers are exchanging views on development of democracy, facing challenges and future tendencies.
