National Naadam Holiday begins

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ This year, the National Naadam Holiday is commemorating the 2227th anniversary of Foundation of the first Mongolian State, the 812th anniversary of the founding of the Great Mongol Empire and the 97th anniversary of the Mongolian People’s Revolution.
President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga made the opening remarks on the National Naadam Celebration and paid respect to the Nine White Banners.
This year’s opening performance features value of Mongolian family and independence.
Opening performance of Naadam Festival was directed by State Prize Laureate N.Naranbaatar, General Director of the State Academic Theatre of Drama and produced by State Honored Cultural Figure G.Tsoggerel, Director of the Theatre.
