16th Mongolia-Germany forum to take place in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 16th Mongolia-Germany Forum will be held under the theme “Democracy needs democrats: Future of Political education of Mongolia and Germany” on August 17 in Ulaanbaatar. The event is annually organized alternately in Berlin and Ulaanbaatar.

The forum organized by the Mongolia-Germany Forum and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung features specialists’ presentations on the achievements and challenges of democracy, current state and future development of political education in Mongolia, political discussions among participants and the outcomes will be presented to the public and decision makers.

The honored guests and panelists of the forum include the first President of Mongolia and leader of the Mongolia-Germany Forum P.Ochirbat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mongolia Mr. Michael Fernau, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Germany D.Ganbat, Head of the Department European and International Cooperation at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Dr. Gerhard Wahlers and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Resident Representative in Mongolia Johann Fuhrmann.

About 200 representatives of politics, economy, civil society and citizens of Mongolia and Germany will attend the forum.
