State Budget 2019 approved

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ During its plenary meeting on November 2, the Parliament adopted a Bill on State Budget 2019 after making the third and fourth hearing on the bill.

In the 2019 Budget, equilibrated revenue is projected to be MNT 9.6 trillion, constituting 27.4 percent of GDP, total expenditures MNT 11.5 trillion, or 32.8 percent of GDP, whereas the deficit amounts to MNT 1.913 trillion or 5.4 percent of GDP.


The next year’s budget reflects to expend MNT720 billion on raising salary of public workers, MNT41 billion on stipends for students of the Vocational Training and Production Centers, MNT189 billion on constructing 117 schools, 144 kindergartens, 34 dormitories, 61 hospitals and 50 national and local roads throughout the country.


A major part of the budget deficit is formed by the project implemented with foreign loans including on construction of new wastewater treatment plant of Ulaanbaatar city and Ulaanbaatar-Darkhan auto road projects.
