Study of project on dzud risk reduction being conducted in Arkhangai aimag

Arkhangai /MONTSAME/ Food Security Monitoring Consultant at UN
World Food Programme (WFP), Darko Petrovic and representatives of Merci Corps
are working in Arkhangai aimag on November 13-16 to conduct a study of the
project on providing support in improvement of dzud risk management and early
assessment of people’s livelihoods of the UN WFP.
Working in Arkhangai aimag, the representatives met with
Governor of the aimag Ts.Munkhnasan and detailed him on the project study and
got familiar with the aimag.
The project is aimed at providing the herders with information that can assist in reducing the risk and prevent from dzud and carrying
out early assessment.
