Consumer price index increases by 6.3 percent

/MONTSAME/ In October 2018, consumer price index at the national level
increased by 0.1 percent from the previous month, by 5.6 percent from the end
of the previous year and by 6.3 percent from the same period of the previous
year.
In
October 2018, consumer price index increased by 6.3 percent from the same
period of the previous year, which was mainly contributed by increases in
prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages group by 5.4 percent (non-alcoholic
beverages by 4.9 percent and milk, dairy products and eggs by 9.0 percent),
alcoholic beverages and tobacco group by 8.1 percent, transport by 8.3 percent,
housing, water, electricity and fuels group by 11.0 percent (electricity, gas
and other fuels by 14.7 percent ), and health by 12.7 percent.
