S.Tserenchimed wins bronze at Senior U23 World Championships

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Mongolia’s wrestler S.Tserenchimed claimed a bronze medal in the 57kg event during the Senior U23 World Championships, being held on November 12-18 in Bucharest, Romania.

She is the champion and silver medalist of FILA Wrestling World Championships, winner of FILA Wrestling World Junior Championships and World Military Championship, two-time bronze medalist of 2014 Asian Games and Asian Wrestling Championships, three-time winner of ‘Mongolia Open’ international competition and Mongolia Cup.  



From Bucharest S. Tserenchimed brought second bronze of Mongolian team and became a first-ever Mongolian wrestler who has claimed medals in four age categories at the world wrestling championships. She won bronze medal from the World Wrestling Cadet Championship in Szombathely, Hungary in 2011, gold medal from FILA Wrestling World Junior Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2013, gold medal from World Wrestling Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 2014 and silver medal from the World Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas, the USA in 2015.
