City Council Chairman meets Ambassadors of EU and its member states

/MONTSAME/ Chairman of the Citizens’ Representative Khural (City Council) of
the capital city S.Amarsaikhan today, met with resident and non-resident
ambassadors of the European Union (EU) and its member states to Mongolia.
At the beginning
of the meeting, the City Council Chairman gave brief introduction about the
capital city. The meeting then continued with an exchange of views on the development
policy, during which Mr. Amarsaikhan highlighted experts’ support is required
to train professionals in addressing the issues faced by the capital city –
traffic jam and over-centralization and expressed readiness to cooperate in
this regard.
Present at
the annual meeting were 28 ambassadors of the EU and its member states,
including the Federal Republic of Germany, the Italian Republic, the Republic
of Austria and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as well as representatives of
the City Council.
