Dornogobi /MONTSAME/ A camel caravan carrying books related to Mongolian customs, tradition and nomads’ culture is to start from Khamar Monastery in Dornogobi aimag to Ulaanbadrakh soum on December 6 to December 8.
In remembrance of poet A.Erdene-Ochir, native citizen of Ulaanbadrakh soum of Dornogobi aimag, Laureate of Bolor Tsom (Crystal Cup) poetry festival, Meritorious Cultural Worker, ‘Arlaanii Erdene-Ochir Foundation’, his son E.Tsagaan-Uul, and his family and relatives are jointly organizing the journey with books.
The camel
caravan will depart from Khamar Monastery and will reach Ulaanbadrakh soum in
the morning of December 8. During the camel caravan journey, poets will hold poetry reading, attend evening show and hand over the books to Ulaanbadrakh soum.
Additionally, the Mongolian National Broadcaster will make a special program.
