Youth hockey team wins silver at U20 Challenge Cup of Asia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Mongolian hockey team won the silver medal at the U20 Challenge Cup of Asia, which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
A total of 8 teams competed against each other in two divisions. Despite losing their first match against the team of Thailand by 14:1, the Mongolian team came out victorious over the team of Kuwait with the score 9:2. They played their last match against the Indonesian team, and was able to get the victory with the score 3:1, winning the spot for 2nd place at the U20 Challenge Cup of Asia.
While the team of Thailand won 1st place with 3 wins and 9 points, the Mongolian team got 2nd place with 6 points and the Indonesian team took 3rd place with 1 win.
