Pregnant women and mothers with young children to have 5-day vacation in fresh air

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ At its
regular meeting on December 19, the Cabinet discussed its plan to allow pregnant
women and mothers with children aged 0-5 stay in resort with
a purpose to protect them
from air pollution.
According to the plan, mothers who have health insurance will spend five days with their children at one of 29 resorts free of charge.
Pregnant women and mothers with children aged 0-5 who are scored below 409 according to survey on determining household living standards and living in the most polluted /1-4th / zones, are planned to be involved in the program.
According to the preliminary
survey, it would involve 10.6 thousand pregnant women and about 35
thousand mothers with 65 thousand children.
The decision on the issue will be finalized at its irregular meeting on Friday this week.
