Erdmin company produces copper strip

Orkhon /MONTSAME/ ‘Erdmin’ Company, a producer of pure copper cathode started producing copper strip. The company is manufacturing all types of copper ribbon with 50 mm width and 0.9 mm thickness, using equipment by Changzhou Aibang Company of China.
Copper strip is core raw material of electrical network and small power stations and Mongolia imports it 100 percent. Not only copper strip becomes raw material of electrical appliance also it is used for copper cup, plate and domestic articles.
The value added manufacturing provides possibility to reduce volume of import. The company set a goal to manufacture value added products made of copper from 2008 and now it has been producing over 50 types of copper-clad cables and 6-7 types of extension cords.
