Speaker meets with Ambassador of Turkey

/MONTSAME/ Speaker of the Parliament G.Zandanshatar met with Ambassador Extraordinary
and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Mongolia Ahmet Yazal on March 6.
“The two countries should make achievements in their
economic cooperation. There is room for expanding cooperation with Turkey in
the areas of tourism and agriculture. Bilateral relations will be broadened by
increasing frequency of high-level meetings,” said the Speaker.
Emphasizing
that trade turnover between Mongolia and Turkey has increased this year, Ambassador
Ahmet Yazal said talks on establishment of Free Trade Agreement between the two countries have started and the next meeting will take place soon. Furthermore, the
Ambassador expressed his interest to expand cooperation in civil aviation
sector.
During the meeting, the sides mentioned about the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Turkey, which will fall in this June, and Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey was invited to visit Mongolia on the occasion of this historic event.
