Spring session of Parliament opens

Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia opened its regular spring session of 2019
today.
The spring session’s agenda comprises
of 29 issues, including a bill to amend the Constitution of Mongolia and
revised bills on Parliament, President, election of Citizens’ Representatives
Meeting of aimag, the capital city, soum and district, Political Party as well
as on Administrative and Territorial Units and Their Governance.
In his opening speech, Speaker G.Zandanshatar said, “It necessitates amending the Constitution to make Parliament and Government responsible and stable and judiciary independent and impartial. Thus, I request you, Members of Parliament to consider the amendments to the Constitution accurately from all aspects. During this session, we have to define state budget assumptions, which will be followed in the next three years, and approve the Basic Guideline to develop Mongolia’s socio-economy in 2020. We have a unified goal for the sake of Mongolian people.”
