Chief Justice of the Supreme Court appointed

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On
May 9, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga issued a decree (No.74) on
appointing Batsuren Khukhiisuren to the position of Chief Justice of the
Supreme Court, on recommendation of the Supreme Court of Mongolia.
In accordance with the
provisions in the Section 2 of Article 51 of the Constitution of Mongolia,
Section 1 of Article 9 of the Law on the President of Mongolia, and Section 3
of Article 15 of the Law on the Legal Status of Judges, Kh.Batsuren was thus appointed
the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia.
On the same day, Chief of
Staff to the President Z.Enkhbold formally introduced the presidential decree
to the judges and staff members of the Supreme Court at its office.
Then, Acting Chief Justice Kh.Soninbayar presented the seal to the newly appointed Chief Justice Kh.Batsuren.
