Foreign Minister receives IBA President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar received the International Association for Bear Research and Management (IBA) President Andreas Zedrosser and bear researcher Harry Volentin on May 13.

The association has been globally operating since 1972, issuing magazines and organizing annual conferences for international scholars and researchers. Representatives mentioned the possibility to conduct the IBA conference on bear research in Mongolia in the nearest future.

Foreign Minister stressed the decreasing population of Gobi bear, just more than 30 left, and expressed willingness to cooperate on Gobi bear protection and attracting global attention.
