Children’s ballet about Berlin Airlift to be staged
Art & CultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ ‘The history of Berlin Airlift’ children’s ballet will be staged for free at the Ulaanbaatar Ensemble on May 18.
The performance will narrate the story of Berlin Airlift, organized by the Western allies to carry supplies to the people of West Berlin during its occupation in 1948-1949.
Within the framework of the project, Merited Artist of the Federal Republic of Germany, choreographer Volker Eisenach conducted 10 day choreography course for 34 students of PASCH initiative partner schools and Badmaarag secondary school at the University of Arts and Culture.
The project was initiated by Cultural Envoy of Mongolia O.Oyuntuya to mark the 45th anniversary of Mongolia-Germany diplomatic relations, 30th anniversary of German reunification and 70th anniversary of the establishment of Berlin Airlift.
