Ambassador to Austria addresses Plenary Meeting of the Eurasia-Pacific Uninet

/MONTSAME/ Under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science
and Research of the
Republic of Austria, the sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eurasia-Pacific Uninet
was organized in Vienna on May 16-19.
Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Austria G.Battungalag and
Special Envoy of the Minister
of Education, Science and Research of Austria addressed the opening of the
meeting. Moreover, President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences D.Regdel and
authorities of the National University of Mongolia, Mongolian University of
Science and Technology, Mongolian National University of Education, Mongolian
National University of Medical Sciences, Mongolian University of Life Sciences,
Mongolian University of Arts and Culture, and Khovd University represented
Mongolia at the event.
Founded in 2000, the Eurasia-Pacific Uninet has 170 member institutions in 13 countries. The network promotes multilateral scientific cooperation, joint research projects, conferences as well as faculty and student exchange. Over 100 Mongolian specialists thus far have been involved in programs and courses funded by the network.
