Authorities of Bhutan Power Corporation working in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Authorities of the Bhutan Power Corporation are visiting Mongolia to get familiarized with activities of energy sector in Mongolia and Energy Regulatory Commission of Mongolia (ERC).
Officials led by coordinator of the ERC E.Tuvshinchuluun
received the delegates, briefing operations of the commission, energy sector’s legal environment and current state of Mongolia’s economy and exchanging
mutual views.
The delegation of Bhutan Power Corporation will also visit at the Thermal Power Plant No.4 state-owned JSC. Bhutan’s many hydroelectric power plants provide the country’s energy need and the government backs up its energy sector.
Therefore, while getting acquainted with activities of the power plant
that combined heating and power plant, the delegates intend to study
coordination of electricity tariff of Mongolia and introduce its good practice.
