chaired a regular session of the World Trade Organization's (WTO) Council for Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual
Property Rights (TRIPS Council), one of the three WTO subsidiary councils, held
on June 6.
The session participants
discussed intellectual property, biodiversity, and pharmaceutical issues
together with the disclosure of traditional knowledge about grant of patents and
promotion of creative production.
