Best films of Altan Khalis Film Festival announced
Art & CultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The seventh Altan Khalis International Film Festival wrapped up on June 8 and the winners were announced.
The Jigjidsuren Grand Prix went to ‘Persistence’ by E.Otgon-Erdene and the winner was awarded with professional film equipment rental for their next work. Out of 38 works selected in the competition section of the festival, following short films became the winners.
Best International Experimental Film: ‘The Divine Way’ by Ilaria Di Carlo (Germany)
Best Mongolian Experimental Film: ‘Pinwheel in the Wind’ by O.Bolorsuvd
Best International Documentary: ‘My theatre’ by Kazuya Ashizawa (Japan)
Best International Animated Film: ‘Two balloons’ by Mark C.Smith (USA)
Best Mongolian Animated Film: ‘Thread’ by J.Ariuntuya
Best International Narrative Film: ‘November’ by Kasper Moeller Jensen (Denmark)
Best Mongolian Narrative Film:’Portrait’ by A.Battulga
