Mongolian artists participating in Prague Quadrennial 2019Art & Culture
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian artists led by Head of the Khatan Shonkhor NGO, Curator and Painter S.Ariunbold are participating in the ‘Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space’ international festival of stage design and theater architecture, taking place on June 6 -16 under the support of UNESCO and European Union.
They are taking part in the exhibition groups ‘Fragments’ for glorifying veterans who have made valuable contributions to the art of scenography, ‘Metamorphosis’ featuring scenographic works created by artists in their prime over the past three years, and an emerging young artists’ group.
The event is involving artists of theater arts schools from over 80 countries. On June 10, a ‘Mongolia Day’ event was organized to introduce Mongolia’s culture, arts, history, tradition, and cuisine to the artists from around the world.
