Top five students to study in Denver through Luby-Jenkins

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Amarsaikhan on June 25, met with the Luby-Jenkins Student Exchange Program students.


The Zorig Foundation is implementing the program for the 14th year in joint initiative with the Ulaanbaatar Denver Sister Cities Committee. The program provides the selected high school students with various courses.


“Top five students selected for the program are going to the City and County of Denver, United States through the cultural and student exchange program. This month, five students accompanied by one teacher from Denver stayed in Mongolia for two weeks through the program,” informed B.Gerelmaa from the Zorig Foundation.


Mayor S.Amarsaikhan said “I wish success to you, the students who will represent Mongolia in DenverI am confident that you will be back home with more knowledge. I wish all the best for the Denver students as well.”


Over the past 14 years, a total of 76 teachers and students have been involved in the program from Mongolia. Unlike previous years, the 2019 program was open to 10th and 11th graders of all schools in the capital city.
