Ulaanbaatar Economic Forum 2019 taking place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ulaanbaatar Economic Forum 2019 is taking place today at Blue Sky hotel.
“To ensure economic
growth of the capital city, we aim to create favorable condition to run
business in the capital, implement investment policy and provide opportunity to
introduce new financing and investment system based on partnership between
public and private sectors. As a result, further cooperation will run
sustainable,” said Governor of the capital city S.Amarsaikhan in his opening
remarks.
UNDP Resident Representative to Mongolia Ms. Beate Trankmann also addressed at the opening of the forum. She said “Let’s imagine Ulaanbaatar city of 2030 together. It would be clean, convenient and smart city that achieved the Sustainable Development Goals. Today, we are here to seek solution for it.”
During the forum, outcomes of the socio-economic surveys of Ulaanbaatar city made within four main topics ‘City of Youth’, ‘Traffic movement and transport issues’, ‘Consumption in the city’, ‘The economy of city’ have been presented open to the public for the first time.
Moreover, projects developed by private sectors and scientific institutes are being introduced and the participants exchanged views on forms of cooperation, potentiality and opportunities.
Representatives of the Citizens Representatives Khural (Council), members of Ulaanbaatar trade chamber, delegation of international organizations and scientific institutes, businesses and investors are attending the forum.
An exhibition
of products and services of associated organizations, companies and factories
of the capital city and private sectors is opened.
