Journalist exchanges highlighted to enhance cooperation of two countries

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On July 1, Sergiy Kuzmichov, First Secretary at the Embassy of Ukraine to Mongolia, visited MONTSAME National News Agency of Mongolia, holding a meeting with the agency’s Director General.
At the meeting, Mr.
Sergiy Kuzmichov voiced his willingness to cooperate with the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, MONTSAME Agency, and the Confederation of Mongolian Journalists to
deepen Mongolia-Ukraine cultural and humanitarian cooperation as well as to
collaborate in organizing Ukrainian Cultural Days next year in Ulaanbaatar.

MONTSAME B.Ganchimeg said, “First of all, we would like to renew our
cooperation agreement with the Ukrainian National News Agency – Ukrinform. In doing so, it will bring a broader opportunity to expand cooperation between the
two national news agencies.” She also stressed the importance of journalists’
exchange, that is to say, the role of journalists who have seen the country
with their own eyes, in enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
Present at the meeting were MONTSAME’s Deputy Director Sh.Batbold, Editor-in-Chief at News Abroad Desk L.Batbayar, and Editor-in-Chief at Local News Desk N.Lkhagvasuren.
