Mongolian chess players become world amateur champions

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian chess players B.Khaliun and
D.Amarsaikhan became world champions at the World Amateur Championship 2019 held
in Manzanillo, Mexico between June 30 and July 7.
At the competition, amateur players from 60 countries competed in
three rating categories: U2300, U2000 and U1700. B.Khaliun, who triumphed over
the women’s section under 2000, won the second place in the section under
1700 last year.
