Mongolia and Poland to mark anniversary of diplomatic relations next year
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Undersecretary of State for Security, Asia, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland Maciej Lang is visiting Mongolia at the invitation of Deputy Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg.
Within the framework of his visit, a consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Poland was held on July 9. The sides emphasized ever-expanding bilateral friendly relations and cooperation in all spheres such as politics, defense, law enforcement, trade, economy, agriculture, health, education and humanity.
Moreover,
they exchanged views on opportunities to expand bilateral economic cooperation
and on regional and international relations matters. The sides agreed to
jointly celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishment of
diplomatic relations, which will fall in 2020.
Undersecretary
M.Lang said that the Republic of Poland is attaching the great significance to elevate
its friendly relations and cooperation with Mongolia, especially in defense,
industry, agriculture, energy, transportation, logistics, construction and
education sectors.
Furthermore,
the Polish side notified that study and preparations for re-opening the Embassy
of Poland in Ulaanbaatar are underway.
Undersecretary
M.Lang’s visit will continue until July 13.
