Otgonbaatar Claims MGL-1 Fighting Championship Belt

Ulaanbaatar, December 1, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Otgonbaatar Boldbaatar has claimed the 57 kg championship belt of the “MGL-1 Fighting Championship”.
The main event featured the promotion’s top-ranked fighter in the 57 kg weight class, “Shiren Beelii” and “One Team Fighting” club athlete B. Munkhjargal, who entered the bout with a professional record of six wins and two losses. He faced B. Otgonbaatar of “Shandas MMA” club, a five-fight winner and current 57 kg champion of Japan’s Gladiator promotion. Otgonbaatar secured a submission victory in the first round to claim the MGL-1 championship belt.
In the 93 kg division, E. Mungunshagai of Border Troops Unit 0303 and “Altan Shonkhor” club defeated G. Gantulga of “Garuda MMA” and “Desant Bambar” in a ranking bout.
Meanwhile, in the qualification contests for professional competition, B. Davaajav, B. Batzorig, B. Battumur, and T. Tsogtsaikhan earned victories, securing their licenses to enter the professional ranks in their next fights.
