Mongolia welcomes children from flood-affected districts of Irkutsk

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The second stage of the assistance campaign for the victims of the flood in Irkutsk region initiated by the United Alumni Council of Mongolia (UACM) is running successfully. 

Summer camps in Mongolia received a total of 42 children aged between 9 and 17, who lost their homes in the flooding. Ulaanbaatar Railway JSC transported them free of charge.

The children will be staying here for 40 days between July 16 and August 25, first at Nairamdal International Children’s Center then at ‘Nairamdliin erdenes’ summer camp in Erdenet city.

The UACM noted that the donations given by Mongolian people will be spent on school bags, supplies and other essential items.
