/MONSTAME/ A summer course on Mongolian literature, culture and tradition is
running for young Mongolists from July 22 to August 4 at the initiative of the
Institute of Language and Literature of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. In
the first half of the course, theories and methodologies will be taught by
professionals.
The next week, the students from 15 countries who are studying Mongolian language, history and culture will visit a Mongolian family to personally get acquainted with the country’s culture. They will familiarize themselves with the daily life of Mongolians through various activities such as cow milking, dairy processing, horse riding, and herding.

said “More and more foreign researchers are studying Mongolia, the
motherland of Chinggis Khaan. Therefore, the key objective of the course is to give
those researchers an opportunity to personally get acquainted with the unique
lifestyle and culture of Mongolia.”
