Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Cabinet made a decision to raise wheat incentive to reach MNT 100 thousand per ton from former rate of MNT 50 thousand. In order to receive the incentive, the wheat supplied to flour mill must comply with  standards. This measure is part of the efforts to increase flour production of domestic factories and prevent flour price to rise. Agricultural farmers believe that the flour price will remain stable thanks to this decision.

Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh gave corresponding officials to take necessary measures in this connection, such as building a state-owned laboratory to determine the wheat quality and grade, reduce the advance payment of machinery, equipment and grains delivered by the Crop Farming Support Fund by 10-20 percent, involving farmers in government loan programs for small and medium sized enterprises, providing insurance coverage and studying any requests and proposals put forward by the farmers.

As of September 14, the nationwide harvest of grains is 4 percent complete and harvest of potato and vegetables is at 22 percent.
