Mongolian, Russian defense ministers meet in Moscow
Between June 22 and 23, Minister of Defense G.Saikhanbayar is taking part in the IX Moscow Conference on International Security. World Bank to support sustainable urban transport in Ulaanbaatar
On June 23, 2021, the World Bank Board of Directors approved a $100 million loan to support the Ulaanbaatar Sustainable Urban Transport Project, which will develop a comprehensive framework for sustainable urban mobility for Mongolia’s capital, and will reduce congestion, improve road safety, and address climate resilience on selected transport corridors.
Museum of Chinggis Khaan to display over 6,000 exhibits and artifacts
In April 2019, the Government of Mongolia made a decision to establish Chinggis Khaan Heritage and Cultural Institute responsible for promoting the legacy of Chinggis Khaan and his role in the history of Mongolia and the world, as well as for historical records and research of the XIII century.
