Mongolian delegation attends int'l cooperation forum

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A delegation led by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren on October 11 met with Jiang Jie, Executive Vice Chairman of the People’s Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) of China while taking part in an international cooperation forum held under the Belt and Road initiative.
At the
meeting, the Mongolian side noted that as the relations and cooperation
between Mongolia and China expand, provincial level relations, in particular with Tibet Autonomous Region, is intensifying.
Emphasizing
that representatives headed by Vice Chairman of TAR Meng Xiaolin visited Mongolia and staged a photo
exhibition and art concert in Ulaanbaatar last month in celebration of the 70th
anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two
countries, the sides concluded that there are opportunities to collaborate
in the fields of culture, education, traditional medicine, and religious
rituals.
